My name is Liulongjiang, and my English name is Kevin, I was born in Nanyang city Henan Province in the year of 1975, 22 years after my birth, I gratutituted from Henan Institute of Fannance and Economics, my major is Business English. Nice to meet you.
I came to South China to make my living in 1999, and soon I found a job at Pulo Bicycle Parts Co.,Ltd, I stayed at this factory over 6 years. At the first 2 years of my staying here, I served for it as a junior sales clerk, my job was to follow the orders, to do with all the detailed matters of the daily business. For example, getting the inquiry from customers, responding the sample requests, sending the samples and checking the technical details, and confirming these important datas before the customers can release the orders to us,taking care of the production process and the products quality, arranging the delivey and shipping; if theres is any complain and claim from customer after the delivery, it's also my work to give them a fine resolution. So it's no problem for me to make the documents and keep good communication with the customers.
In the following 4 years of my staying at Pulo Bicycle Parts Co,.Ltd, I got a promotion of my position from sales cerk to sales supervisor. my main task was to expand the overseas market. There are more ways for me to reach my target:
Firstly, we set up our own website and upload all our products pictures and information on them and updated them continously, so that our old customers can find the correct things they wanted and release more orders.
Secondly, we source our new customers and orders from some business website such as Alibaba and Globalsource. It's neccessary for a company to expense on these website and provide our sales guys a stage .
Thirdly, we had the advitising on some famous magazines, such as the Bicycle Retailer in USA and Taiwan Bicycle Retailers.It's helpful for customers to find us easily.
Fourthly,We attended the bicycle show inland and abroad several times a year.
And fifthly, I believe if we had built our good reputation in the industry, the old customers and freinds will recommend us to other new customers. It's also an important channel to expand our business.
In the year of 2005, I left Pulo for a new position my former manager provided for me at Liangjeng Industrial Co.,Ltd which located at Panyu district Guangzhou city. I worked at there and do the same job above mentioned. All I did for this company was appreciated by my boss and colleague deeply.
